
Joining the Junior Baker Program
Cottage Nosh is delighted to welcome Junior Bakers to our platform. Junior Bakers are committed bakers between the ages of 13 and 18 who want to gain experience operating a home food business. In order to participate in the program Junior Bakers must be operating under the active and direct supervision of a parent or legal guardian who is a Licensed Cottage Food Operator who will be the Cottage Nosh Account Owner and responsible for the activities of the Junior Baker. Here’s what you need to do to get started:
- Parent or legal guardian of the Junior Baker should register as a Seller on Cottage Nosh, establishing themselves as the Account Owner.
- Account Owner should submit proof of Cottage Food License to [email protected] Read more about getting licensed here.
- Account Owner and Junior Baker read, understand, agree to, and sign the Junior Baker Enrollment Form
- Account owner should request the “Junior Baker” badge through the Cottage Nosh Badging System or by emailing us at [email protected]om
- Account Owner to fill out Cottage Nosh profile clearly announcing the participation of the Junior Baker.
- Account Owner to provide ongoing supervision and support to the Junior Baker during all aspects of the operation of the Cottage Food Business.
